Terms of Use
These Terms govern use of the Amplytic website, service, newsletter, and Amplytic Microsoft Teams app.
1. About Amplytic
Amplytic provides software and AI-assisted workflows for renewable energy asset management, market intelligence, portfolio monitoring, and related business operations. The Amplytic Microsoft Teams app lets authorised users access Amplytic through Microsoft Teams.
These Terms apply to public website visitors, newsletter subscribers, users of the Amplytic service, and users who access Amplytic through the Microsoft Teams app. If your organisation has a separate written agreement with Amplytic, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use Amplytic only if you are authorised to do so by your organisation and by applicable law. When using the Microsoft Teams app, you must use an authorised Microsoft account in your organisation tenant and comply with your organisation policies.
3. Access to the service
Subject to these Terms and any applicable order form or customer agreement, Amplytic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for internal business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, or use Amplytic to build a competing product unless Amplytic gives written permission.
4. Customer content and outputs
You and your organisation retain ownership of prompts, files, messages, renewable energy asset data, portfolio data, and other content you submit to Amplytic. You grant Amplytic the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and use that content to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
Amplytic may generate analyses, summaries, recommendations, messages, tables, or other outputs from the information provided. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Amplytic outputs are not legal, tax, financial, investment, engineering, or safety advice.
5. Microsoft Teams app
The Amplytic Microsoft Teams app is an access surface for the Amplytic service. The app may use Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, bot messages, app installation events, and related Microsoft services to authenticate users, route messages, and provide requested functionality.
Your use of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft services remains subject to your organisation Microsoft agreements and policies. Tenant administrators are responsible for app consent, installation, permission policies, and removal of the Amplytic Microsoft Teams app from their tenant.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Amplytic to:
- Violate law, third-party rights, or Microsoft platform rules.
- Submit data that you do not have the right or authority to process.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Amplytic, Microsoft Teams, or another user account.
- Upload malicious code, disrupt service integrity, bypass security controls, or overload Amplytic systems.
- Use outputs as a substitute for professional judgement where regulated, safety-critical, investment, legal, tax, or engineering decisions are involved.
7. Security and confidentiality
Amplytic uses reasonable technical and organisational controls to protect the service. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials, managing Microsoft Teams app permissions, and notifying Amplytic promptly of suspected unauthorised access or security issues.
8. Third-party services
Amplytic may interoperate with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft cloud services, cloud hosting providers, email platforms, analytics tools, AI model providers, and other third-party services. Amplytic is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, but it uses them to operate and support the Amplytic offering.
9. Fees
Paid access, pilot terms, subscription fees, renewal periods, and payment terms are governed by the applicable order form, customer agreement, or written commercial arrangement. Newsletter signup and public website access do not create a paid subscription unless you separately agree to one.
10. Availability and support
Amplytic aims to provide a reliable service, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Planned maintenance, Microsoft platform changes, third-party service incidents, or security events may affect access. Support for the Amplytic service and Microsoft Teams app is available at https://www.amplytic.co/support.
11. Intellectual property
Amplytic and its licensors retain all rights in the website, service, Microsoft Teams app, software, designs, models, workflows, documentation, trademarks, and other Amplytic materials. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms or a written agreement.
12. Privacy
Amplytic handles personal data as described in the Privacy Policy at https://www.amplytic.co/privacy. By using Amplytic, you acknowledge that data may be processed as described in that policy and any applicable customer agreement.
13. Suspension and termination
Amplytic may suspend or restrict access if it reasonably believes that use of the service violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, threatens service integrity, or breaches an applicable customer agreement. You may stop using the service at any time, and tenant administrators may remove the Microsoft Teams app according to Microsoft Teams admin controls.
14. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amplytic is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Amplytic disclaims warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be complete, current, or suitable for a particular decision. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction unless a separate written customer agreement states otherwise.
16. Changes and contact
Amplytic may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. For questions about these Terms, email hello@amplytic.co.
